PrincipalInvestigators.org Announces PI Grant Writing Workshop Jan 2010

Principal Investigators Association is calling all PI's, grant officers, grant administrators, office of research services, and anyone else involved in the process of writing winning grant proposals.

January 5, 2010 (FPRC) -- This educational PI event is held online so anyone can attend the live 60 minute audio event on Jan 26th, 2010 at 1pm EST. Time conflict? don't sweat it, it will also be available on CD. If you are a PI, this is one you don't want to miss.

This PI grant writing seminar will improve your grant writing for research proposals by learning current trends and best practices. The grant writing workshop called "Writing Successful Proposals: What's working lately and what isn’t? will help you stand out from the tough competition. "

Our Guest Speaker Charles F. Howard became a Research Administrator at Western Michigan University and the University of Northern Colorado, working with faculty on their grant proposals and teaching about writing grant proposals. "Chuck is also a trainer for The Craftsmanship Center, co-teaching a workshop on Writing Research Proposals." He is also a senior Grant writer for Campbell and Co.

Charles will be conveying the importance and value of your research. "He will walk you through the key steps of effective strategies for writing your grant proposal from protecting your ideas to creating the best possible presentation of your research."
