Award Winning British Interior Accessories Designer Launches New Portfolio at Maison & Object in Paris
Leading British product designer Hemal Patel of Headsprung is due to launch his latest portfolio of interior accessories at the much acclaimed Maison Et Objet design trade show in Paris this week, taking place from September 7 – 11 at the Paris Nord Villepinte trade and exhibition centre.

September 10, 2012 (FPRC) -- Maison & Objet is one of the worlds most anticipated trade design shows of the year, attended by designers, industry professionals, department store buyers and specialist store merchandisers from around the world.
The show features both established brands and emerging talent in the home wares and home accessories industry and draws together design brands from all around the world showcasing their latest creations.
Headsprung have already made a name for themselves in the British home accessories design market with the accolade of a Grand Designs award for their debut product – the OOOB doorstop. HeadSprung was also nominated as Best Newcomer at the prestigious 100% Design Awards 2006. Their signature products include wall mounted coat hooks; wall mounted magazine rack, wall mounted shoe rack, funky clocks, and ceramic vases and has a loyal following around the world including India, America, France and Italy.
This year at the Maison & Objet show, Headsprung will be launching two of their new products including the Orishe vase, a ceramic wonder based on the Japanese folding art of Origami and the strata magazine rack, a simple, functional desktop magazine rack that is inspired by pages of a book and layers of sedimentary rock.
Founded by industry acclaimed design engineer Hemal Patel, HeadSprung specialise in the design and manufacture of contemporary home accessories, furniture and lighting. Believing that good design is a universal right, which should neither discriminate nor be the privilege of just the affluent, Hemal setup the company as a vehicle to create products that combined style, beauty and functionality at accessible prices.
