Dolphin Dive Center Shows Customer Appreciation in Year-End Celebration

Local dive shop brings the Athens dive community together once again, for a day of food, fun, and fellowship.

December 4, 2012 (FPRC) -- Dolphin Dive Center (DDC) is pleased to announce Scuba Extravaganza 2012, an event to celebrate a successful year and to show appreciation for its customers. The all-day festivities with food, raffles, sales and fun will take place December 15, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the dive shop, located at 2597 Atlanta Highway in Athens, GA. Both divers and non-divers are invited.

Items to be raffled off throughout the day include: a Sea Life DC1200 Pro Set (camera, flash, etc.), a $1000 value; a Sea Life Mini II Camera, a $200 value; an Education Package (Advanced Open Water class, Nitrox class, plus both c-cards), a $400+ value; and three DDC Dive Club Memberships, a $50 value each. Anyone purchasing 20 raffle tickets will receive a free DDC hooded sweatshirt.

Complimentary refreshments including hot dogs and hamburgers, grilled on-site will be available.

Dolphin Dive Center achieved important goals this year. Their ongoing program to teach Wounded Warriors to dive gives hope to dozens of soldiers battling combat-inflicted injuries. In January 2012, the Center created the DDC Dive Club which brings members of the Athens area dive community together for monthly meetings with guest speakers and the chance to exchange information and experiences. And the number of new divers certified in the past twelve months surpassed projected goals based on last year’s numbers. That’s a lot to celebrate!
