December 3rd, 2014 – OptiMonk.com, founded by European marketing and ecommerce experts, announces its launch, aiming to help online marketers recover abandoning visitors in real time.
OptiMonk represents the next generation of conversion optimization software and is a new product in a growing collection of online tools created by online marketing expert Csaba Zajdo and ecommerce specialist Janos Gal. With OptiMonk, website owners can recover up to 15% of their abandoning website visitors.
“Between the founders, we have been involved in conversion optimizaton and the ecommerce industry for over 10 years” says co-founder Csaba Zajdo. “From our experience, there are a lot of software services for analyzing why visitors leave a website. However, there are quite few that actually help recover visitors in real time. We built OptiMonk to fulfill this need.”
"Ecommerce sites have billions of dollars in revenue, but they still lose 98% of their traffic.", adds the Hungarian innovator. "Today we launch OptiMonk to help them save up to 15% of these lost visitors."
OptiMonk.com – which launches today – offers a new way to engage abandoning visitors with a last offer. With an easy-to-use interface, website owners can create, customize and target specific messages to visitors who try to leave their site without buying or subscribing.
As co-founder Janos Gal explains, "Imagine a visitor browsing your ecommerce site. She likes what she is seeing, but she decides to ’buy later’. Online marketers used to be powerless, and had no way to change her mind. Now, with OptiMonk, you can show her a message at the exact moment she tries to leave your site – for example, you can offer her free shipping if she buys now. According to our results so far, up to 15% of abandoning visitors react to such a well-timed message."
"For the last two decades, ecommerce sites had no way to communicate a last offer to their visitors”, says Zajdo, who is one of the leading online marketing experts in Hungary. "OptiMonk gives them a second chance to convince their visitors.”
“I think many people underestimate how large the untapped potential of recovering abandoning visitors is,” co-founder Janos Gal adds. “Marketing costs are growing rapidly, which urges ecommerce site owners to get the most out of their visitors.”
OptiMonk is the brainchild of an experienced team of startup founders, marketing experts, web developers, and ecommerce industry veterans. The crew is responsible for the development of dozens of award-winning ecommerce sites. Together, they know all the ins and outs of the ecommerce industry.
Co-founder Csaba Zajdo founded two online enterprises before co-founding OptiMonk and teaches online marketing at the University of Debrecen. With 10 years behind him as an online marketer and ecommerce specialist, Csaba has been described as the “ecommerce guru of Hungary”.
Janos Gal, also co-founder of OptiMonk, is an ecommerce serial entrepreneur. He’s co-founded two companies, and cooperated in the creation of more than 1,000 ecommerce sites.
