Nike Skills Developer, Former NBA Players, Former NBA D-League Coach Kevin Whitted introduces first of its kind health club type basketball training membership program for Kevin Whitted Basketball.
September 7, 2017 (FPRC) -- Kevin Whitted Basketball announces their new KWBS basketball training memberships! The membership program allows players to have access to exclusive development programs used in professional training sessions 7 days a week just like a health club membership.
KWBS training members will receive discounts on KWBS camps/clinics and private/specialty training. They will also have the ability to contact player development coaches about their individual workout plans and merchandise perks. Parents will gain easy access to payments, schedules and more through the website and Upperhand app. “KWBS training membership is an affordable way for parents and players to get full access to high quality NBA style player development training” says Whitted.
Training classes include:
Group Training- an hour long all-purpose training program that covers strength conditioning, ball handling, footwork, hand/eye coordination, shooting mechanics and progressive game play.
Tight Handles- an hour long ball handling workout that focuses on making a player effective with both their left and right hand.
Shooting Lab- an hour long workout that will breakdown footwork, stance, balance, shot mechanics and hand placement to improve a player’s shot.
Organized Skill Play: This hour long open court workout is where player’s will get the chance to apply everything they have learned in training during the week.
Members will still be able to purchase a la cart training services including private training, small group training, shooting lab, and position work for guard and post players. About Kevin Whitted:
Former Dallas Mavericks NBA player, University of Tennessee starter and European league player Whitted stopped playing basketball in 1999 and switched gears and coached two successful teams: the Atlanta Vision ABA and the Wilmington Sea Dawgs PBL. As an assistant coach Whitted has coached NBA D-League teams the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, and the Springfield Armor. Whitted was also named Interim Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Southwest Tennessee Community College and was named Inaugural Head Coach of the NBA D-League Westchester Knicks. Outside of coaching Whitted is a Nike Skills trainer.
